So true! I’m an HSP as well. So is my son. I made the right decision to move us to the country of upstate ny. I was miserable living in cities all my life. The noise actually was a huge factor in my life and one of the main causes of my PTSD when I used to work on the trading floor of investment banks. I didn’t even think much of my over sensitivity since I adapted until my son came along. Oh man, is he sensitive! I finally stopped taking my own sensitivity for granted and just learned to be grateful for it. Also, I learned to protect it. Since any overwhelm can create an issue. Great post that summarizes what it means to be an HSP!
